We have the longest track in the lower North Island, including a 50m long straight. And at an average of 5m wide, there is plenty of room for racing!

The Track
Our 250m long track is one of the biggest indoor go-kart tracks in New Zealand! Your lap times and race position are projected onto the wall so you can see how your times compare during the race. Incorporating MYLAPS (the most reliable and accurate competition karting timing system) and the RaceFacer app, you will be able to see how you compare to the lap times of the day, week, month and all time!

Viewpoint helmet cameras let you capture you race from start to finish! Just attach the camera to your helmet and race! After you finish you will receive a docket print out with a QR code. Just scan the QR code to watch and download your video!

Yes, you must have enclosed footwear, and no loose clothing items (e.g. scarves)
Yes of course, you don’t need a driver’s licence to drive a go kart! We give newcomers all the guidance they need for an epic high-speed race.
The minimum age for the kids karts is 7 years old and 12 years old for the adults karts.
The minimum height for the kids karts are 120cm tall and the maximum weight is 90kg.
For the adults karts the minimum height is 140cm tall and the maximum weight is 130kg.
Go karting is not recommended for drivers with heart problems, epilepsy or other conditions which may be affected by exertion. Any conditions that would prevent you from acquiring a driving licence would likely prevent you from being able to race. It is our policy to provide the opportunity to access karting to as many drivers as possible. If in doubt, give our team a call!
Yes – but all karts on the track will be speed limited to 25kph under fun kart bookings
Yes – Up to 10 drivers can be on the track at the same time.
XKarts operates on a strict NO drugs or alcohol policy. No driver is to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Random breath testing can occur.
No – However we strongly recommend that you pre-book your session to guarantee your starting time.

Yes. When wearing glasses with our helmets you will need to remove your glasses first, then put the helmet on.
No, our karts are automatic. To enable super-sharp cornering, they’re built so the rear tyres can slide when you steer into a corner instead. This means that you only need to worry about two pedals and a steering wheel.
